Halloween
It seems less children come Trick-or-Treating every year... it makes me so sad. I think media and modern technology are making todays children grow up so fast, that they are missing out on the simple little things that, at least for me, made being a kid really special. Once your childhood, your innocence is gone, it's gone. I mean, people seem to be so focused on the future, they forget about the present... I really think they will regret it someday. Don't you just wish you could go back sometimes? I sure do...

My Celebrity List
A list of stylish, sexy guys that I love. Guys, who are in my opinion are tres hot, but to many are really not. Dead or alive, weather they have aged since i have adored their looks, these people are purely in my taste. That said, here are my tops (In no specific order.)
Ok, I lied. He's my fave. Who is he you ask? You should know if you've been reading my blog, he just so happens to be my future husband. Also known as Alex Turner, the front man for the Arctic Monkeys (one of my fave bands) not only is he tragically beautiful, but he sings, and he's British. Mmmm, yummy... but for the record, he's mine. So back off ladies! Including you Alexa Chung! |
Brandon Flowers... yes. Not only is he a fantastic singer in his band The Killers, but he's so hot. Too bad he has a wife and a child... broke my heart when I that out... oh well, he's still smokin'. |
Yes. I think Liam Gallagher is very attractive. This dude from Oasis and Beady Eye is probably one of the most famous Brits on the Planet, but is it really any wonder? |
Is it odd I think Iggy Pop was attractive back when The Stooges were starting up? Mabey so, but whatevs. A Symbol of 70's punk, an anarchister, and just a cool yet seriously messed up dude. |
The guys from Pink Floyd were hot back in the day, such as the young David Gilmour as pictured above. He has certain freedom, and hippie charm about him, don't you think? |
Please tell me you know who actor Ryan Gosling is? He was in The Notebook? (And if you have not seen The Notebook, you are not a woman.) |
I really only know him from the indie-styled and tres lovable fairytale, Penelope. But the character was super cute, and man, so is he. James McAvoy can be my "Prince Charming" any time. |
I mentioned the guys from Pink Floyd were really hot at one point, right? Well Syd Barrett certainly fits the bill in the looks, (and talent) department. |
So these are my men. And although they are most defiantly easy on the eyes, check out their work! They are not only cute, but they are all really talented! Oh and if you have anyone I should add to my list, let me know in the comments below, and I'm sure they'll become my new obsession. Hope you enjoyed my list!

Changes For The Fashion Pig...
First of all I want to point out this is my first post using the Blogger app on my iPod, I rather like it, it's quick, easy and you can blog on the go. It's also free! Which is always a plus. Anyway, let's get to the point, I'm thinking about revamping my blog, like the look and stuff. I'm also thinking about doing more fashion, art and music posts, and a little less personal type posts. Any ideas my 2 lovely followers? If so, tell me in the comments below!

Arctic Monkeys
Okay, so I don't know if I've ever posted about these guys before but they, (along with The Beatles and The Killers) are my favorite band ever. Okay, I'll give you some background then. So basically they're from England, (so yes ladies, they have accents) they jumped onto the music scene around 2006, they're an indie-rock band they have 3 full length albums so far, and a new album, Suck It And See is due to come out June 6th. Anyway, I saw them live at Kool Haus Saturday night... oh my god... amazing! It completely lived up to my expectations, (which were extremely high) They didn't play D Is For Dangerous, but they played Florescent Adolescent on the encore, so I was Happy. I was also pleasantly surprised when they did Crying Lightning, a song I had never payed to much attention to on the album, was quite incredible in person. I can't seem to get it out of my head. I also had a perfect view of the groups front man, Alex Turner, who I am in love with... yeah, I plan to marry him. His voice is just so orgasmic! I'm still in shock! I ended up going with my friend Alex, who had never heard of them before, but I think he liked them. And me and Alex, (my friend) ended up like, holding each other all night and making out... it was great... and then we were kissing while waiting for our ride and this random guy walking down the street starts telling us about love, it was my life. It was so funny. I will never forget that. Ever. So what's going to happen to Alex and I? Probably friends with benefits, but who knows. Anyways, in conclusion, Saturday night was unbelievable. It must have been one of the best nights of my life, if you ever get the chance to see the Arctic Monkeys... do it! You won't regret it!

Birthday Pt.1
Okay, so yesterday was my birthday... holy shit, I'm 16! Anywho, I finally got to go to Urban Outfitters and it was amazing. I got this retro looking skirt for $10, (it was originally $60) this over sized floral dress for $20 (originally $80) and I bought a pair of surprisingly really cute overalls, I'll post a pick once I wear them. I also got a bunch of super cute clothes from H&M, I got the tickets to see one of my all time favorite bands, the Arctic Monkeys, in case you don't know them they're British indie-rock stars, their music is really unique and very clever. And I happen to love their front man, Alex Turner. His voice is like orgasmic, and he's pretty hot too. Oh and I am freaking out over this, my dad, who I have recently started spending time with, got me a drum skin signed by all the members of The Killers! Also one of my all time favorite bands, and if you do not know them, you must be living under a rock. I also happen to be in love with their lead singer as well, Brandon Flowers... he signed it... that means he touched it... oh my god... lol. Okay, well in all seriousness I'm really nervous to be 16, I guess I should start studying for my G1 now, that's scary. I'm actually going to have a party this year, so I'll do that sometime in may then. I'll blog about it once it happens.

An Original But Lame Poem
This is one of my poems. Their not great, but oh well, enjoy!
As I drift across the universe, sleepy thoughts fill my foggy mind. Lying on my cloud, missing you, waiting for you to be lying here beside me. Loneliness fills my heart as tears fill my eyes and roll down my face, knowing you will be back with me soon gives me a reason to get out of this dreamy haze. My eyes are heavy, my mind is racing, thinking about past memories, wondering about all the memories we will someday create together. Sleep has taken over, I can no longer fight it, my head is filled with your image... my dreams echo with the sound of your voice, I see you, I feel your gentile touch on my skin, an illusion at most, but soon to be reality.

D Is for Dangerous
Music: D Is for Dangerous by the Arctic Monkeys
Ok, this one was a little weird. I decided to go a little twilight on us all and do a vampire photoshoot, it was actually really fun, (notice the red eyes? It just happened on it's own, cool eh?) But while I was doing it my mom called my and asked if I wanted to go to the grocerie store, I told her i couldn't and she asked, "Why not?" I said "Because I'm dressed like a vampire." She asked if I was going goth and I told her no, it was pretty funny.

Song Covers
This is a Katy Perry cover of "Firework", done by my best friend Amy and I. The quality is pretty bad, but I like our harmonies. So I hope you enjoy! It's also on my YouTube channel if you want to check it out: http://www.youtube.com/user/thefashionpig?feature=mhum
The second one here is a Bruno Mars cover of "The Way You Are" my brother randomly walks in (wearing his very fashionable skiing outfit) and pretty much wrecks the whole thing.

I Will Follow You Into The Dark
I love this song right now, it's called "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" by Death Cab For Cutie. I love to play it on guitar, the chords are easy and I think it sounds OK. Actually i found out about it last semester when this guy and this girl who both knew it, (they were big DCFC fans) did this duet it was really beautiful, personally, I liked their version even more than DCFC's original version (even though the original is still awesome.) So here are the lyrics:
Love of mine some day you will die
But I'll be close behind
I'll follow you into the dark
No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
Just our hands clasped so tight
Waiting for the hint of a spark
If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
In Catholic school as vicious as Roman rule
I got my knuckles bruised by a lady in black
And I held my tongue as she told me
"Son fear is the heart of love"
So I never went back
If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
You and me have seen everything to see
From Bangcock to Calgary
And the soles of your shoes are all worn down
The time for sleep is now
It's nothing to cry about
Cause we'll hold each other soon
The blackest of rooms
If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
Then I'll follow you into the dark
But I'll be close behind
I'll follow you into the dark
No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
Just our hands clasped so tight
Waiting for the hint of a spark
If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
In Catholic school as vicious as Roman rule
I got my knuckles bruised by a lady in black
And I held my tongue as she told me
"Son fear is the heart of love"
So I never went back
If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
You and me have seen everything to see
From Bangcock to Calgary
And the soles of your shoes are all worn down
The time for sleep is now
It's nothing to cry about
Cause we'll hold each other soon
The blackest of rooms
If heaven and hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
Then I'll follow you into the dark
